The children's book What to do When You're Raped is designed for the Native American Women's Health Education Resource Center and their 2015 campaign to get equal access to emergency contraceptive for Native women through the Indian Health Service. They were wrapping their campaign in the greater issue of sexual violence experienced by Native women and girls, and the title of my children's book reflects the overwhelming statistics surrounding that violence. I designed, wrote, and illustrated the book for my fellowship with The Ms. Foundation for Women.
